At least we got some rain out of it and the snow stayed on the mountains! We knew it was coming at some point. The weather has been wonderful and the trees even were allowed to change color and fall off their branches, unlike last year. Even the tips of the mountains got a dusting a couple weeks ago.
For the curious, the mountain peak to the middle right is Rush Peak, elevation 7,595 ft. The ‘bald’ mountain on the far left is Cuddy Mtn, elevation 7,867 ft. Both have some mining history and you can even see the range as far south as Boise on clear days.

Hobo, we had a spate of rain here at The Ranch, but New Home has had rain every day this week – and cold front is predicted on Halloween. I suspect Winter is here.
