It’s that time of year when it gets cold, foggy and the hoarfrost makes a dramatic landscape. The last batch of snow has stuck around while a lot of the valley floor has seen its snow mostly melt away. But at least we have received some sunshine despite the cold temps.

But when it is cold all the animals will find a way to keep warm and snug. Cows may all sit or stand around absorbing the sunshine, the chickens may find a spot in the yard or in their coop to warm up, or the kitties…. well, sometimes they will hang out in the greenhouse, sit in the sunshine against a wall or doorway, or like Opal in the video below…. sit under the clothes dryer vent.
Until next time,

It looks really lovely Karen. Mind you, I say this from a living room with a wood fire, so I can afford to see the beauty without having to live in it…
